Technologies

Great Lakes Bioenergy's Zip-Lignin™ technology allows allows for easier degradation of lignin, the most difficult part of the plant to break down.
Great Lakes Bioenergy technologies have the potential to offer new competitive advantages and products for biorefiners, farmers, and a number of multi-billion dollar industries. Our technologies boost the overall economics of bioenergy and have the potential to drive a new generation of biorefineries.
We work to commercialize our technologies through partnerships with the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) and Michigan State University Technologies.
