Inventors

The Invention
UW-Madison researchers have designed improved Saccharomyces eubayanus proteins capable of transporting maltotriose into the cell and enabling its fermentation. These proteins are expressed from a stable, native genomic locus in an isogenic set of S. eubayanus strains.
