Requirements: An experienced postdoctoral plant researcher is needed in our program on plant improvement for bioenergy and sustainable coproducts development. The candidate will be part of a team transforming plants and utilizing diagnostic analytical methods to delineate plant alterations. Candidates with prior experience in lignin are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have co-authored peer reviewed publications in reputable international journals, will be familiar with plant transformation methods along with instrumental separation (HPLC, GC) and structural analysis methods including NMR and mass spectrometry. Note: given the imminent starting date, applicants who are US citizens or have US work visas will be given priority.

Job Duties: The plant researcher will design and perform plant transformations, and conduct diagnostic analytics to delineate plant alterations.

Salary: Minimum $48,432, Dependent on experience
