Dr. Gregory Bonito is an assistant professor in the Department of Plant, Soil and Microbial Sciences at Michigan State University. He studies fungi, microbiomes, symbioses and biogeography. Dr. Bonito joined the Department of Plant, Soil and Microbial Sciences in January 2015. He earned a Ph.D. in Biology from Duke University, an M.S. in Conservation Ecology and Sustainable Development from the University of Georgia, and a B.S. in Ecology and Environmental Biology from Appalachian State University.
