Alexandra Schnoes
As a workforce development and career & professional development professional, Alexandra Schnoes has designed and led initiatives that expanded career training, built recruitment pipelines, and strengthened mentorship for graduate students and postdocs. At the Science Communication Lab, a non-profit affiliated with UCSF, she designed and built programs, courses, curricula, and resources for researcher development, the scope and content of which is driven by extensive community engagement and participation. The online courses she has built have reached over 20,000 learners worldwide and she is a co-founder of the UCSF Graduate Student Internships for Career Exploration (GSICE) program, a nationally recognized model for STEM internship programs.
