Science L.A.B.²: Learning and Building Bridges

A whole day to discover sciences – Bring your students to this educational event!

Following the great success of the fifth edition in 2016, the Office for Science and Technology at the Consulate General of France in Chicago organizes a sixth whole day for the discovery of science by students, in downtown Chicago, through hands-on activities.

The booths are run by French and American scientific partners, in very different fields of science. This event is designed for both American and French students from 5th to 10th grade and their teachers. As most of the scientists present will be French speakers, French-speaking audiences are welcome! Classes will be divided into groups of 10 to 13 students. in order to visit each booth in an orderly fashion.

GLBRC Education & Outreach staff will be sharing hands-on activities to explore the science and engineering behind developing next-generation biofuels.
