Phil Robertson is an internationally recognized crop and soil scientist and ecosystem ecologist. He served for 25 years as the director of NSF’s Long-Term Ecological Research site at MSU’s Kellogg Biological Station. Robertson is a Fellow of the Soil Science Society of America and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. His research interests include the biogeochemistry and ecology of field crop ecosystems and in particular nitrogen and carbon dynamics, greenhouse gas fluxes, and responses to climate change.
