New Bioenergy course for incoming students at UW

The Fermentation Challenge inquiry activity has been updated with enzyme recommendations, lab tips, and data samples. This is the next step after completing Fermentation In A Bag.
The Energy Statistics page on the GLBRC website has been updated with information relevant to biofuels.
Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program Youth and Youth Educator. Two grant opportunities for $400 and $2,000 maximum. Proposals are due by 4:30pm, Friday, January 14, 2011.
Vernier Awards:
- NABT Ecology/Environmental Science Teaching Award Given to a high school teacher who has successfully developed and demonstrated an innovative approach teach ecology/environmental science. $1,000 cash, travel expenses to NABT, and $500 Vernier equipment awarded. Deadling March 15, 2011.
- Vernier NSTA/Technology Awards, all teaching levels, $3000 in total awards.
