4-H Biofuels Blast National Youth Science Day. October 7. The National Science Experiment this year for 4-H is an investigation of making sustainable biofuels. GLBRC was involved in the creation of this activity and Dr. Bruce Dale, one of our lead investigators, is serving in the “Ask an Expert” role.
The Life Cycle Assessment Process Tool and Answer Key to accompany the Biofuels Sustainability activity. For those of you who participated in a workshop, and did the “Walkthrough the Life Cycle Assessment of Energy” activity with us, we added a new feature to the PowerPoint and created an assessment tool to use after completing the activity. This agraphic organizer to separate energy inputs and outputs from matter inputs and outputs and should help clarify responses you want to illicit from students.
