Summer Professional Development Opportunities

Bioenergy Institute for Educators 2011! June 20-25 on UW-Madison campus. $500 stipend, with credit option. Applications are now open! Teams are preferred, and applicants will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis. Make sure all team members fill out their registration as soon as possible so you will be considered!

Application deadline extended for Research Experience for Teachers! Due to many events beyond our control, we have added one additional research topic to our RET program for this summer and extended the application deadline to the end of March 2011. We are looking for educators with interdisciplinary interests, especially those who merge science with social sciences for the remaining spot.

Classroom Resources

Updated Quantitative Modeling of Biofuels Life Cycles activity! The spreadsheet modeling activity now contains both net energy and net greenhouse gas emission options! We will be presenting this activity at NSTA and WSST this spring.
