Bioenergy Institute for Educators
Focus areas:
- Bioenergy: development, use and applications
- Evaluating the sustainability of biofuels
- Systems-thinking in the context of biofuels
- Nature of STEM education as related to bioenergy
research - Development and use of classroom inquiry materials

- Support for the adaptation of education materials
- Earn $500 stipend/participant and take home relevant classroom materials
- Teams of 3-4 teachers preferred. To apply, each team member must complete the online application, (link at www.glbrc.org/education), which includes a short essay.
- Participants are expected to use materials from the Bioenergy Insitute during the 2011-12 school year.
- The Insitute is designed primarily for grade 6-12 educators. Others are welcome to apply.
- Applications accepted on a rolling basis. Deadline May 2, 2011
